Fisher i did hear say that if the league does not punish him enough for what they think he will take action. Sounds like Fisher thought it was BS

The only way they will stop actions like this is by banning the a$$ from the game.
One thing is to let your emotions get the best of you on the field but this was out of line. This was intentional serious harm to a fellow player. If they allow this to pass with some fine, some other players will keep doing things similar to this as those fines to them is like a $50 parking ticket to some of us.

I have nothing against a good scaffle, but that was just bullshit thug-mentality. He needs to have charges brought against him and the NFL needs to banned his ass. We'll see how serious they take this.

I don’t feel criminal charges should be filed, and the NFL will try to avoid that too, but he should be suspended as long as they can without the players’ union stepping in. What he did was dangerous, unsportsmanlike, and has no value in the league.

I could see him sitting out the rest of the season. Players have had to step up their mental awareness big time this season. As we have witnessed this season, referees are really coming down on charging with helmets, low tackles on QB’s etc, and something as crass as he did should really feel that wrath of the NFL.

Ok. I want some one to explain to me why Arod slapping the ball out of the glove is Bush League but steamrolling the catcher to knock the ball loose is a great play. The goal is to knock the ball loose. Why is it laegal on the catcher but not anywhere else?

Take it a step further.
How about breaking up a double play at second by practically sliding into the outfield with your feet aiming for the legs of the second baseman or shortstop?
That has been accepted as part of the game.
I agree that what this jacka$$ did on the football field can in no way be compared.
