One of the Greatest in Post Season History but, it'll be forgotten real fast if the Met's don't do something here in the 9th. When you see 2 teams go at it like this, it's a shame that somebody has to lose.

Re: Mets-Cards

Great season for the Mets this year. Sure I'm dissapointed, but I'm a realist. If you told me in April we would have won 97 games, ran away with the NL East, and made game 7 in the NLCS with our 2 best pitchers not pitching in the post season, I would have signed on the dotted line. Great performances by Perez and Maine the past two night, but put nothing past the Cardinal pitching. Great job, looking foward to the World Series.

Good game and Congrat's to the Cardinal fans but, I was hoping to see a Tiger's - Met's WS.I wanted to see what that Met Lineup could do against Kenny Rogers and Company...oh well.

I'd rather be in the fight than sitting at home....if we don't win as a prohibitive underdog in this series I won't be happy but another NL pennant hanging at the new Busch will look real nice as a runner-up.

Please... I gave you your due... you guys played well, but had Duque and Pedro been healthy, its a totally different series. And please don't bring up Moulder or Izzy... cause they both sucked when they were healthy...

If you know your playoff baseball history the cardinals have had more than their fair share of major injuries during the post season....that's just baseball.
Although you are right we probably would have lost if you guys had all of your horses on the roster.
I only took a friendly jab at you because of the earlier comment you made...never say things like that because they can sometimes come back to bite you in the old cigar butt.

eh what happens happens... and I'm more than willing to always to push the envelope... I have rooted for this team since I was a kid, and for the first time since i was 7, we had a swagger, because we were the best team in the NL. Im happy with the job Willie and Omar did. They are going in the right direction, when they call Humber and Pelfry up next year, the rotation will be much improved. The bullpen will only get stronger with the return of Duaner Sanchez, and this team will compete for a World Series again next year.

The Mets are tough...the injuries killed you guys this year but I'm sure you'll be back in the fight next year. Just do me a favor....if we pull off a third straight series miracle...smoke my personal favorite (a padron 4000) for me and I'll do the same for you next year if you guys get the ring.

GO CARDS!!!!!!!!!
