Hopefully we will see you there. UNC has arguably the best depth in CBB but I agree Oden will be a force for Ohio St.

Yes...but Oden is one player. To come back in January, he is going to have to regain his conditioning and then try to fit in with the team dynamics.

I remember the great days of Patrick Ewing and Georgetown as well as Alonzo Mourning. They were big men in the middle and definitely made a difference, but they also had not been out of the lineup for two months when they hit the biggest portion of their conference schedule. Those two impacted the game; however, if folks recall from the tourney days....neither of those two guys won a National Championship either.

I agree. Team dynamics and getting in the groove is a big component. There is no doubt he will have a positive impact though. I'm not claiming we are going to win the national title this year, but we will be good -- VERY good -- for many years to come.

Yes zilla...Ohio State should be pretty good for years to come, with or without Oden. The next couple years recruiting classes are already showing great promise, coupled with current roster, and things look VERY good for them. Believe that the NBA is indeed going to come calling for several of your players. Daequan may be gone, Oden may be gone, as well as the fella that hit 30 points for OSU last evening.

UNC will also feel the impact with Wright and Hansbrough both probably going to be gone after this year, as well. The recruiting train needs to be constantly in motion heading out and into the station for these two schools. Puke University is going to have their own problems as well...but who cares about Puke anyways?

I voted for the ACC but follow the Pac-10 schools when I watch college BB.
Used to love the old days with UCLA's John Wooden and Oregon State's Ralph Miller teams go toe-to-toe!

Yea....I think the UK alums are going to be calling for Tubby Smith's head before too long. Hate to see it, but, its about the W's and the banners flying from the rafters. When alumni money starts drying up....its pull the plug time. Tubby is a good guy, and a local from around these parts (Raeford, NC)...but, its now a business.

2 losses already....heck, another couple, and they'll have him gone before the end of the year!
