No Need for Analysis

Do you ever wonder why people even bother analyzing football anymore? For a week straight now, it has been, "Larry Johnson will run ALL OVER Indianapolis, and they will destroy the defense." Basically, everyone said this would be a high-scoring game, because the defenses are weak. So far, this game has been bad for the Colts, and worse for the Chiefs.

I'm a Jets fan, and I don't really care for either team, but I was just wondering your analysis of... the analysis!

football is a team sport. Colts mistakes have kept the Chiefs in the game to this point. Those who thought Johnson would win the game on his own because the Colts have a bad run defense were simply parroting the popular view, imho. That's not really "analysis"

Very Weak on both sides of the Ball. Nature of the NFL I guess.

I guess we all saw that the Colts aren't as dumb as the analysts say... maybe they watched their shows and realized that Larry Johnson was going to get the ball... a lot... and he did... and did nothing.

Also one of the most boring NFL games that I have ever had the displeasure to watch.

Some people can get on crazy runs. A few years ago a guy locally (Norm Hitzges) predicted the entire NFL playoffs correctly. This is the same guy who said last week that LSU would destroy ND....he sure got that one.

There is a reason the game is played... analysis means nothing once the teams are on the field.
