Not sure what UFC is? Check out the link below:

Here is the fight card:

Seems like alot of quick fights so hopefully we will see most of the card.

I'll be getting the PPV.

Anxious to see if Lutter has anything for Silva. I've seen him submitted a time or two in PRIDE, and that's Lutter's strong suit. If it goes to the ground could be interesting.

I'll also be interested to see what kind of showing Rampage and Cro-Cop make in their UFC debut. These guys could potentially shake up the LHW and HW divisions.

I'm not sure who I feel more sorry for: Marvin Eastman or Eddie Sanchez.

Chonan managed to pull off that submission (flying leg lock?) on Silva but I am not sure Lutter's going to manage to take him down. His clinch is unbreakable. If Rampage fights like he did against Lindland then it's going to be a long and drawn out 3 rounds. Let's hope the old Rampage show's up.

i'll probably wait for it to pop up on the net, but am really anxious to see crocop and rampage do some damage....although, i've got a feeling their debuts on UFC won't be nearly as entertaining as their Pride fights.

My usual UFC PPV Herf host is having a Super Bowl party the next day, so he is out. I actually have a hockey game that night anyway, so it worked out OK for me. Be the first PPV I have missed in quite some time.

I'll take;

Q. Jackson - Cro-Cop - A. Silva - Scott Smith - Jorge Rivera - Tyson Griffin

I just don't care much fo Lutter so I hope Silva pounds his ass into the matt.

I agree with you except for the Cro-Cop and Scott Smith prediction. Keep in mind Mirko doesn't have the greatest chin, that Eddie's stong suit. Unless Mirko can create some space between them with his patented axe kicks, he'll be in soem trouble. Scott Smith likes to bang but Cote can take and give out a beating so I see Cote by KO or TKO for his (hopefully) first win in the UFC.

I was going to go with Cote over Smith for the reasons that you point out, though I think Smith can get this fight.

Cro-cop's chin is in question here? Man, his been up against some of the biggest punchers; Igor Vovchanchyn, Mark Hunt, Wanderlei Silva, & Fedor. Randleman caught him, but he's stood toe-2-toe with some big hitters since then and hasn't faltered. Besides Randleman was just lucky, didn't see him asking for a rubber match did we.

Anyone can lose on any given day, but going from battling Fedor to Sanchez doesn't seem like he will collaspe here. I haven't seen much of Sanchez, though he looks to have a big right, but he is going to be facing one of the biggest fighters in MMA.

I'd have to agree here. I don't think Mirko's chin is really suspect. Randleman did catch him but like you said that was all luck. Not to take away from Randleman he has alot of talent but he's not at Mirko's level. Eddie has some big hands and has some serious heart, with those two things you always have a chance to win. With that said I think Eddie is going to be worried about the left high kick so he will probably paw with the jab and unload with his right hand alot. Fake left kick and a left cross and the nights over for Eddie. Mirko's not a one trick pony with just leg kicks, he broke Sapp's orbital bone with some nasty lefts. I think this will actually be somewhat fun to watch. Eddie has heart and in his last fight he took a beating and came back so I'm sure he will put on a good fight but at the end of the night he will fall to experience and a real world class striker. Just my

Re: UFC 67 - Who is watching/ordering it?

Still not sold on his chin, Mirko has great hands and legs but he uses large space in the ring to maneuver and avoid damaged. It may be a different story in the cage. Either way its going to end in a KO.
