Personally, I think the Browns need a seasoned QB more than a "franchise" type of player. I think the Tim Couch experience should let them know that an instant QB can sometimes be a big disaster. If I was Cleveland I would take somebody that can run the ball and at least pound it into the Red Zone. That coupled with a QB that isn't a total waste of time might actually yield some fruit. The funny thing is that if Cleveland was in NFC they would have been in the playoffs!

Yeah,

I haven't heard too much rumblings coming out of Green Bay as of late. I will interested to see what they will do. Some are thinking GB will move to a Defensive Tackle in the first round to shore up their defense, others seem to be pushing to have Green Bay take a Running Back to make some type of strides in their running game. Either way, Green Bay needs somebody that they can play this year in order to make it to the playoffs. They do not have the luxury of time like some teams (Indy, Pittsburgh).

Yeah, they sure did look farther away from being a playoff material than closer. They had hope for some FM.

Re: NFL Draft thoughts

I think that the draft takes W-A-Y too long.

Especially when your team(Seattle) traded away their first round pick anyway.
