Living in Maryland years ago and being able to attend O's games in Memorial Stadium made me a closet O's fan. Watching Ripken's first game as an Oriole, pulling for Jim Palmer, Eddie Murray, etc, as well as even my pre-Oriole days of Brook Robinson, Boog Powell, etc., PLUS sitting up in the nose bleed section with Will Bill Hagy and drinking beer with the best of 'em are some of the fondest memories I have of baseball. I'm a huge Red Sox fan, but the O's have always gotteb a close look from me as well. Damn....I'd love to see them get competitive once again and be contenders!
