On paper it doesn't look too good. Ginn Jr. was a reach, omo.

For that moment in time, yes. All others, it is a toss up.

It looks like the dolphin's staff did a very poor job on the first day of the draft, but time will tell. The QB they took in the second round is already 26 years old and the receiver they took in the first round has a foot injury and is under 6 feet tall. Good luck dolphin fans.

It’s so very important to never make important decisions while under the influence of alcohol.

Re: How do u thing the dolphins did in the draft??

I think the Dolphins draft is starting to shape up nicely now. They are adding depth to positions they really need help in. Though many people think Miami messed up by not taking Quinn I remain optimistic that everything will work out. Getting Ginn at the #9 spot was a reach, but we will see.

Obviously, GM Randy Muellar and Cam Cameron saw something in Quinn they did not like.
Cameron has a history of working with young QB's and Muellar has a history of acquiring QB's. When he was GM of the saints he had Jake Delhomme, Marc Bulger, and Aaron Brooks all on his roster at some point. Delhomme and Bulger were eventually traded away for draft picks. You can't judge a draft they day after, you have to give it some time.

I think the Dolphins did excellent...if you're a cowboys fan. Allowing Brady Quinn to drop allowed the Boys to trade their pick for the Browns #1 next year. Should be a good one.

I did think the Dolphins should have taken Quinn when they had the chance.

Please explain why the dolphins should have taken Quinn at the #9 spot. One more thing I want to add Terry Shea the Dolphins QB's coach coached Brady Quinn in the offseason. Meaning, he knows brady quinn's strengths and weaknesses more than any other GM,coach, or scout. We will see what happens.

Re: How do u thing the dolphins did in the draft??

I have been a Dolphins fan my whole life (which is hard being from washington st) Now I am happy that they got Beck in the second round but why would you take a decent #2 reciever over anybody else they could have especially with Quinn still in the running at the time. Just because they are most likely gonna get Trent Green doesnt mean that they shouldnt be looking for their QB of the future. This might sound weird but I would rather see the Dolphins work on building a team that will be consistently good rather than try and pick up a bunch of players for just a season or two for playoff runs, then go back to, (im sorry) sucking.

Well lets home that they know what they are doing.
