hey at least they are finally showing the baseball games. Used to be they only showed the world series. I love the regionals and The Super Reg. It sure beats what the SHIT'ers made me watch down south

That's pretty cool, but I'd say the equally great baseball pitchers would strike out every one of those softball batters. It's all learned and would be equally difficult for them in the reverse situation. I don't think we'd see many softball batters hitting a nasty curveball or slider.

Absolutely agree. The bottom line is men are just stronger than women. But saying that, the incredible part is that the women (and young girls) in this sport have modified the swing so much that they can actually hit these pitches now - and that is the big difference. 95% of fastpitch hitters do not stride when they swing - its just fast hands and rotation of the hips - a very efficeint movement. Lots of leg strength to generate the bat speed. You're seeing alot of baseball hitters using this now (Ryan Howard for one).

And by the way - the girls do throw pretty wicked curves - and about 4 different kinds!
