Nope...haven't watched a bit cept what was on ESPN....I am no fan of the NBA but I am interested in this years final because of the two completely different styles of play. Oh and Gibson played for Texas last year....GO BIG 12!! Sorry I am just stirring the pot a lil bit. Do not take me serious as I haven't watched any of the playoffs and am only reusing the stuff spit out by the sportscasters!! I still think CAVS in 5 though!!!

Where is that ban button again?

Hey I'm a fan and had that feeling about the Detriot series when we went down 2-0. Felt better at 2-2. Tipped to maybe this is a fairy tail season when Lebron took the game on his shoulders in game 5. Felt like it was "our time" when Gibson and the gang stepped up on game 6 for the cruising win.

Here is my prediction..... A split in SA.

Then...

If we sweep in Cle we win.

If we lose one in Cle... it's up to the basketball gods but pretty tough.

If we lose 2... well it's over

No matter what, it's a monumental thing for our community to get to the big stage in a major sport and were going to enjoy it to the fullest.

I have tickets to game 5 here so they better not get swept.

Its past midnight cinderalla, the fairy tale is over. Spurs are going to dominate this series, it doesnt matter if lebron goes for 50 every night.

The ticket prices for the games in Cleveland are crazy!

Who thinks they can correctly predict the score of tonight's game? If you do, what is it?

Part of the reason you don't know that much about them is they are the type of pro's you can honestly take your kids to see and feel good about it. None of them are in trouble with the law, they all do a ton of charity work around SA, and they speak fairly well.
If SA wins, there won't be any cars burning in the streets....the whole town will turn out for a sane party. SA will turn out for a party for anything....hell they close downtown for a "Battle of the Flowers" parade during Fiesta.

Spurs in 6...Cleveland has a great team and deserves respect.

Re: Spurs or Cavs

The Spurs just slowly tightened up the noose as the game went on. The next thing you know it is out of reach. Not flashy, but efficient...

Should be a third option on the poll: You mean they are still playing B-ball?

Re: Spurs or Cavs

I really think the Cavs will win game 2...here is why:

We were missing everything the first 3 quarters...yet...we hung right in....if LeBron wouldnt have went ... 0 for 9 (or whatever)....we would of been in... So.... what I'm saying is ...even when we played shitty we hung in with them...What happens when we (LeBron) play good....thats right...we can take them out.

I heart Boobie

Part of the reason I stopped watching Pro Basketball was because the leaguewas filled with thugs and guys who thought they were above the law. Nice to hear about a team full of good character. I thought most of that died when David Robinson retired.

Re: Spurs or Cavs

I was not impressed by the cavs at all.

You kinda knew the game would hold tight until half time, and that is exactly what happened. I think the spurs just let off the gas a bit for the first 10 minutes of the 4th and then decided the cavs were getting close and put it away, which is typical of the spurs.

What was with lebron going to the bench before the game was over?

I agree with you 100%, sort of made me stop watching also.
David helped set the whole tone there, but the team has carried it on. They really are a bunch of nice guys, and the town loves and supports them. Heck, when David retired he opened a school in SA, using a lot of his own money, to help out some of the kids in 'at risk' neighborhoods.

That doesn't win games, but it sure is refreshing.
