Cubs v Braves

Anyone catch this game last night? I saw most of the last of it...Cubs should have pulled Dempster in the 8th while they had the bloody lead.

It's a hard call, because I like both teams! I will note that Atlanta has pulled a substantial number of late inning come-from-behind wins out of the fire this season. That's good and bad. Good that they can overcome the opponent's lead, Bad that they get in a position to have to pull from behind.

I can feel your pain about not pulling the pitcher. That is my biggest complaint about the Atlanta coaching staff. They hang with a struggling pitcher too long, and end up losing the lead to that decision.

Or taking out a pitcher that is doing great! It all stems from Bobby Cox. He doesn't know when to change or not change the pitcher, never has. Remember the '91 series when he chose to put Charlie Liebrant in to pitch against Kirby.

I wish I could disagree with you, but can't
