Who has noticed this is on ESPN2? My brother and his friend are watching it right now. I never really knew this was a "sport" and apparently the winner gets 50k...not a bad payout for getting lucky. Anyway I'm amazed at some of the stuff that ESPN has been airing recently. This should be on ESPN 8 "The Ocho" if it's going to be aired at all. Sorry I had to make a Dodgeball reference haha.

I am actually mad I forgot this was on. I wanted to see how ridiculous it was. It isn't bad enough ESPN is broadcasting the spelling bee but now this.

I can't wait for the Duck, Duck, Goose Nationals in August

LOL ya I saw this on last year and just shook my head. Thought it was just a slow day and lets put that on but, now again this year.... Looks like I need to get into that sport. Wonder what sponsors you could get for yourself???? LOL

I'd like to see some of the following on ESPN, inasmuch as that appears to be where they're headed:

-Burping Contests: This could be done in various classes, whether it be weight class, age brackets; loudest burp; synchronized burps to music, etc.

-Farting Contests: Much like the above, this could be done by having various classes such as: farts that are in sync with a song; loudest, smelliest, etc.

-Beer Contests: Fastest to down a schooner of beer; bartender "pour-offs" where they compete to see who draws the most head from a keg; who blows a 1.0 on a breathalyzer the fastest (also done by weight class).

-Construction Worker Pickup Line Contest: Take the program around the country and see which construction workers have the best pickup lines; see which construction workers get slapped first for a gross pickup line.

-"Your Momma" Contests: Contestants compete against one another with an audience having the electronic handheld gadgets to rate the contestants that have the best "YOUR MOMMA" lines. For example: YOUR MOMMA is so ugly that here parents used to tie a pork chop around her neck just to get the dog to play with her. Or...YOUR MOMMA didn't get hit with the ugly stick, she got hit by the whole damn forest!

I might watch some of these!

Someone told me the other day when we were waiting in traffic for Road Construction that it never fails, once you get to where the road construction workers are at...YOU NEVER SEE THEM WORK. He then asked me..."Did you know that the Japanese have invented a NEW shovel? The new shovel doesn't need a construction worker to lean on it!"

I have a friend who was drunk in a bar in Oregon and ended up making the state (or regional, I don't know the levels of competition) finals for the ESPN Rock, Paper, Scissors contest...she thought it was just a local bar game and was screwing around...

I didn't believe her until I saw the event on TV...now I'm watching to see if her contest will be televised...I can only imagine the number of *beeps* over her language if she was hammered and winning at Rock, Paper, Scissors...should be pretty funny...
