My son and I are going to the preseason game against the Redskins at FedEx field this August.

What kind of team will Steeltown have this year? I'm a lifelong Browns fan so I love the rivalry with Pittsburgh but have a soft spot for big Ben because I graduated (long ago) from Miami (OH).

And just when was the last time the Steelers won a world championship? Hmmmm? It wasn't last year and as many coaches and other experts say, "You're the champion until you get beat." Did the Steelers make it to the championship game last year? The Saints did.

I know...after winning it 5 times its sort of like, been there done that.

Big Ben was on time and on target, and the Defense looked solid.

What's your explanation for last year?

How many players that won the first 4 championships are still on the roster?

How many players that won the last time have left the team? Where's the coach with the Superbowl Ring? This Steeler's team is not the same one that won year before last. Get over it.

But let's get real, the Pittsburgh 1st string looked good tonight and they do have the potential to go to the Superbowl again.

As for the Saints, if you happened to notice, Duece didn't play. One of the reason the Saints offense was Number 1 last year was because with both Duece and Bush on the field it created difficulties for the defense.

Again, it was a good PRESEASON game for the Steelers and not for the Saints.

Yeah, but the Saints are missing something. It's called a Superbowl ring. It's hard to compare both of these teams considering the caliber of teams they face (i.e. NFC is full of cream-puffs). Also let's see how Drew Brees plays after two concussions?

Big Ben's ordeal last year would have made most QB's wet their pants in fear. The Saints are a great team and I am sure after their industrial ass whipping last night hey will hit the field with renewed vigor. Regardless, the Steelers with a new coach and new first stringers did produce results (or as much as a non-event preseason game can infer), and I think they definitely are going to be a formidable force this season.
