British Open Golf Contest
Here it is as promised. Chose 5 players that you think will win or do very well in the Open. 1st place gets 10 pts, 2nd 7, 3rd 5, 4th 3 and 5th 1. Best total will win a special prize.
Tie break - pick the winner and their score in relation to par.
Any questions let me know in this thread.
Deadline is Wednesday at midnite.

I remember it distinctly, and yes, it was on this course. Golf Magazine has an article in July's issue "Le Crying Shame". I plan on reading it tonight. Best line from that day was by Curtis Strange (per GM), "...the stupidest thing in sports."

I still wish he took a swing from the Barry Burn!

Have to give the guy credit though, here's a youtube clip of him playing the hole (albeit three times) with a putter. The editing was well done.
