Re: Yahoo FF League?

Okay-I'm in. May I suggest that we hold off sending winnings until the end-could be a storage problem for the commish.

I can't make the draft-going to a 49er game with the grandson that weekend.

I resemble that.

Be nice to wait anyway and avoid the heat of shipping in the summer, plus yes 55 singles would put a damper on my set-up for that long.

Be more than happy though to receive them right after Thanksgiving that way I can have them to the winner right away.

Although, I hope to not have to ship them

Sounds like a good suggestion due to storage concerns. Only problem to think about is that in past leagues there is always 1 or 2 folks who bail out early and just leave their team on auto-pilot then you don't hear from them again.

That would stink, I was hoping that wouldn't be a problem with a league full of Gorillas.

I guess we just roll with who is in at the end. I certainly don't want to have to be tracking down people to get it handled.

More important than that is people leaving their teams unattended for a stretch. I may change the setting to allow me to change line-ups if someone bailes.

Will just start the highest scoring players that aren't hurt.

Having a few people quit on a league can really goof things up.

Re: Yahoo FF League?

I have my first question. After buying 2 magazines, 1 FF specific and the other a preview of the upcoming season, I am wondering how deep we are drafting at each position. Or do we just draft to a certain number of players and spread the out how we want. I have looked in the league settings but can't seem to find it. Thanks for the help.

We start 1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 1K 1DT, there are a total of 8 "Bench" positions that you may fill as you wish.

RB would be the main position to have extra of, as I am sure you have read

It all depends on who joins. I think last year we might have had one or two folks in our league who were not regular gorillas here. I think one person got pissed at the commissioner for some reason and bailed and another just seemed to leave his team on auto pilot.

Draft as many kickers as you can. j/k Like someone else pointed out, seems the RB's are the money players but don't forget about your bye week.

I'm in. If someone else is nice enough to offer to commish (I'm already running far too many leagues) then I'm more than happy to play.
