Art deco and technology from 1955

Back in the day when you could easily buy a Cuban cigar.

My Dad has always been a Continental nut. He bought his first Lincoln in 1959, it was a used 55 just like this. The color is Coral.
I still to this day remember it breaking down in 1963 when the rear end blew up and it left us stranded.
He has been searching for years and he found one in IA last year and had it restored. It will reside next to his '61 and '65 Lincoln Convertible.

I am blessed to still have both my parents. They are in their 70's now and still very active hard working folk. I hope they can enjoy this for many years.

That is a beautiful car Charlie - a very nice restoration. Very happy your dad managed to locate one and I wish him the best with it.
My dad's first car was a '57 Chevy Belair, red & white, and he always wanted to get another but the prices went nuts.
