the likely reason is actually because it collects tons of information about your usage. It has a lot of privacy issues most companies don't want to open themselves up to.

I like the Google products: email, calendar, documents, but I've been using Firefox for three years or so now and nothing beats it. I just bought a Mac and tried Safari and although not bad, it didn't take long for me to switch back to Firefox.
I'd be surprised it Chrome was eventually competitive with Firefox based on Google's history.

With the release of 3, I made the switch. Its pretty peppy and performs higher on the Acid 3 test than FF. I wish it had the add-on capability of FF, which it does not as of yet.

Google chrome is ok, tried it for about 3 days till the novelty wore off then I switched back to Firefox. Not enough innovation to make me switch yet.

Firefox is my default browser, but I've slowed it down with toolbars and security. I still use IE for Netflix live.

I downloaded chrome a couple of days ago. I decided to try using Chrome for my cigar only browser. Added home page button made Puff the home page. On the bookmark bar- Joes Daily Deal, Cigar Monster, folders for cigar actions, cigar review sites, online cigar stores, Accessory sellers, other forums, Manufacturers.

Computer is a Core Duo Thinkpad, Vista Home Premium, Comcast 20mb broadband. No issues with Chrome yet. Very Fast.

No more "TO DO" Lists. At the end of the day I write down what I got done and then I cross it off.
