Robusto's Cigar Lounge will open June 21, 2007. It will feature a full service bar, specialty drinks, an awesome atmosphere with a jazz theme, vintage cigars, and a full line of premium cigars. Stop by and see what we have to offer.

SSShhhhhhhh, rumor has it, pre-memberships for the private club (at a discounted price) will go on sale Monday June 18, 2007.

Ironic....... there is a "Robusto's" opening in Phoenix around the same time..... are these affiliated in any way ?? The post doesn't really say where the lounge you're opening is so I'm assuming it's near or in the location of your profile (TX)....

I'm bad! Yes it is in Katy Texas, a burb of Houston. It is located on the northeast corner of Westgreen and I-10 (between Fry Rd. and Mason Rd). We are not affiliated with the "Robusto's" in Phoenix but I can't help but think great minds.

If you are down our way, stop by. I think Stogie will be visiting from time to time since he lives near by. If you want to sign up for our e-mails just to keep an eye on what we are doing, go to http://www.richmondavenuecigar.com and add your email online. Robusto's Cigar Lounge web site will be up shortly, but due to all the last minute workings of getting Robusto's ready, we are just not there yet with the website.

Thanks so much for the info You can be certain that whenever I'm next in Houston I'll be coming through! It's ironic, there is also a Robusto's in Tucson, AZ that has been open for quite some time, that is also un-affiliated with the one being constructed in Phoenix. I think you're right, GMTA (great minds.....) Good luck with the grand opening next week!

I can not wait until it opens! I will see if I can swing by and take some picks of the Lounge soon. I went to see the work a few weeks back and this place is going to be huge. There are going to be some great people running it and I plan on spending some time there hanging out. In the future it looks like this is going to be the place to have some huge events.

Stopped by as promised to watch the Usual Suspects hard at work... <G> Robusto's was not yet completed (still needed some trim and flooring and a few other things; it'll be completely finished in no time) but the bar and humidor were open. This place is gonna be THE PREMIER CIGAR HOT-SPOT in the Houston area! I kid you not, I was very very impressed. Took my son along and we had a few cigars and jawed with the locals for a few hours. Stogie showed up with his "camera". I use quotes because it's gone from a simple camera to an entire backpack full of equipment... <G> Don't tell anybody but I think Stogie is a geek at heart. He brought along some friends and we all got to talk for a bit. Believe me, if you live anywhere within striking distance, or are ever passing through Houston, Robusto's is an absolute MUST for a cigar smoker. And Squid is not really that easily impressed...
