Smoking Ban in Houston?
Howdy...
I was wondering what the smoking situation was in Houston these days. I haven't been there since 2003, and wasn't into cigars then. I thought I saw online that there was a smoking ban in restaurants and bars, but I can't find confirmation. If so, where can you smoke cigars/pipes - outside and cigar lounges? My brother and I plan to be there this weekend(14th/15th), and we'll want to have a smoke at some time. We're staying near Rice Village, but I'd like to make my way over to Robusto's...just not sure when. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks. |

Unfortunately there is a smoking ban in bars and restaurants which went into effect September 1 this year. Tobacco shops received an exemption, but no alcohol consumption is allowed in them. We used to have beer and liquors for events but now we can't. Ridiculous.
