Hotels near Robustos

Ok, so we're doing research on what Hotel to stay in... any locals have opinions on what hotel in the area is the best? Seems like all the cheap hotels have the highest rates from online research. Best rates we found were at the Omni, which looks like its pretty close, and the Marriott, which is a pretty good ways off. thanks.

Squid says it's very nice... A few steps above a Hilton. Besides which, yer near "The Red Onion" for lunch or dinner... <G> And only a few miles from Robusto's...

Not familiar with that particular one, but Omni's are usually pretty upscale.

Canney says squid is correct in saying Omni is very nice.
Bring a fishing pole if you want to do some night fishing. They have some ponds with some huge catfish, but don't get caught

booked at Omni for $98 a night, like $40 cheaper than the usual cheap hotels... weird. anyrate, 3 weeks til... be there Saturday night, March 15th.

thanks man, but we already booked so we'll stick with the hotel; but we'll be back through Houston again at some point, so maybe next time.

Rev, what's your favorite smoke? What time are you arriving in Houston? How long are you staying or rather when do you have to leave? Are you up for more B&Ms than just Robustos? We also have Richmond Avenue Cigar, Serious Cigar, Cigar Vault, The Briar Shoppe, and many others in Houston. I would suggest at least hitting up Serious Cigar and maybe Richmond Avenue while your in town to help round out your collection. The Briar Shoppe usually has good looking college girls working at it, but there is no room to sit and smoke. Anyway, let us know what you want to do and we can try to set up some people to "show you around"...

Well heres the thing, we're stopping off in Houston just to check out Robusto's and meet up with the CigarLive crowd. We'll be in San Antonio for the whole week before. We should be getting to Houston next Saturday early evening and leaving the next morning.
