Dallas Herfs

Well since school gets out in a month, I'll most definitely have my truck so I can make a drive to wherever. It'll be a much further drive and I'll probably be spending my paycheck getting from Sherman (i.e. home) to where ever it is and back, but I'm sure it will be worth it. I know there's a good cigar shop in Addison (that I also haven't been to yet and I know I can catch a bus out there, so how does that sound? Or is that a little too far east for ya'll?

Thats the way to get it started Matt, you have to get as many people aboard as you can. What we do in Houston is have a different host every month and that person gets to pick where it will be. And if they need any help getting things together I do that.

By the way being a mod and I can PM more people at a time than y'all can. If you start a new thread send me a link in a PM along with all the members you want PMed. And I will take care of it for you!

TRE stop is about 5 minutes from my house in downtown fw at the fw intermodal trans center stn. i could prob just pick ya up from there to pop's if/when we do herf there. the wife and i take it every time we have anything happening at aac. i love that thing!

i sure can't think of any place off the top of my head...mileage-wise, i think there is little-to-nothing "halfway" unless it was a camping herf or something of the such. college station can always be a fun location, but not really a good split of a driving distance...*shrug*

just randomly thinking of the b&m's i've been or know of that might have potential to host (space-wise):

pop's - just south of downtown ftw
bon ton roule - camp bowie, ftw
town & country - 121 & glade, euless
tobacco road - arlington (is this right? never been and haven't had coffee yet)
cigarshop & more - addison
ole grapevine cigar co - grapevine (would have to herf next door at tap-in, which i would never object)

beyond these, i will let the much more knowledgeable folks east of 360 give their list of locations, as i am admittedly ignorant to dallas cigar life.

The only place convenient to DART is Two Brothers in Plano. Otherwise it is a heck of a hike. THe old Tobacco Gallery in downtown was perfect...two blocks from DART but since the city closed it....oh well.

We are herfin at the new Stafford and Jones this Tuesday. In Richardson at Plano and Campbell Roads.
