Cigar Olympics at Club Calypso

Matt Bedosky owner of Club Calypso in Richardson is going to have the Cigar Olympics to correspond with the opening of the 2008 Olympics in China.

On Friday night Matt is going to host a opening ceremony party in his cigar bar so everyone can get to know each other before competition on Friday from 5-9 p.m. Pass the word let's get some smokers from other surrounding states to come get their butt's kicked in Texas.

On Saturday Matt will have three Olympic competitions. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m Competitions begin at 12:00 p.m.

The Longest Ash Contest ( no wussies allowed )

Blind Cigar Taste test (smoke it , describe it, pick the cigar)

Cigar Rolling Contest ( get your cuban hand goings )

all winners will receive medals and have a medal award ceremony.

This event is being sponsored by Kinky Friedman Cigar Company, Altadis USA, General Cigar, Armando Ramos, & Drew Estate's. I'm positive more companies are going to get involved this is going to be one helluva of a party.
