Beach Party -No need to wait for the next herf...

Anthony was buggering us to take him to the beach, so we're going to make a beach trip Saturday, July 19. We're heading down to Quintana Beach, and everybody is welcome to come out and hang/herf with us. Link to Quintana is below. I haven't been there in about a year, but unless things have changed, there is no entrance fee, and you can drive on the beach instead of parking and hauling gear. We'll probably get there around 1 or 2pm but if anybody wants to get there earlier, just let us know so we can look for you when we get there. When you get to Quintana, there is a park and pavillion with a pier to the left. That is nice, but you have to pay, and then park and lug gear to a pedestrian only beach. We're going to keep going straight to the free beach where you can pull right up, open the tailgate and enjoy. Post here if you can make it out.

How do you get there Troy? Do you take 36 in? What street goes to the free beach?

Yeah. Straight down 36 until it dead ends in Freeport. Take a right (I think hwy 1495) and follow it all the way down. There's a stop sign, and keep going straight thru to the beach.

Everything is fine...it has just been crazy. Fall and Winter are the company's hot seasons, things taper off about two weeks before Christmas and pick up in late Jan again.

We decided to just use Heather's house instead of buying a second one, so I'm in repair and upgrade mode at the house. Upside is I'm turning one of the bedrooms into a smokers paradise man cave...*grin*. I'll be posting more about that as the time gets closer.

I am however comma inspired and think I'll have to ship some packages of to unsuspecting locations to announce my return to CL....

The faster route for us houstonians is 288 or in your case Frank, take bw8 to 288 then 288 to freeport.

Oh yeah, I forgot we don't live in the center of the universe Yeah when 288 hits Hwy 36, go south on 36 and the dead end where you turn right is not very far.

Oh I knew from here 288, the main thing I was looking for was 1495. I doubt I will make it but I wanted to know just in case. Y'all have a great time!
