Anybody know what the deals/specials will be? Their website says that the deals would be available the day before the event. Well, today is the day before the event.

I got wind of the 5 pack of Tat Black Robustos being included on one deal. Not sure which one though. There are sure to be more deals than that but my goal is to do whatever it takes to get the Tat Black Robustos.

Mel and I are going to be out and about this morning running errands. We will pick up some name tags. We think it would be cool for everyone to write their screen name and then their real name.

We will be getting there around 5 as well.

Wow this thing was awesome! Happy Birthday Ron you throw one heck of a party!

I walked in smoking my daily Don Pepin Cuban Classic and I think I saw Don Pepin smile at me as I told him these are some of my favorites and I try to smoke one everyday. I have a box of every size in the Igloodor.

The godfather of great cigars himself Don Pepin was nice enough to sign everything I purchased... makes sense as he blended em all. Espinoza & Ortega signed a box of Cubao #7's for me and Pete Johnson signed a couple of boxes, a hat and a cool table top torch lighter for me. Pete did say Ron claimed he would get to autograph hot womens bodies... He laughed about it and continued to sign stuff for me. Everyone was so great at signing stuff that as I was talking about it in the parking lot Dee was forced to get his stuff out of his truck and get it signed.

Dee won a fancy driver that will probably hits golf balls 600 yds. Tim won a 42" flat panel TV that we jammed into his car. I managed to win a bag, a 19" monitor & a Cleveland wedge. Troy & his better half won every other prize if memory serves me right.

Pretty cool standing next to Pete Johnson & Don Pepin and I happened to be halfway thru the same stick they were lighting up. Smoking with the super stars of the cigar industry and sharing a great smoke -- A Tatuaje Cojonu 2009 that has yet to be released... Very tasty stick that was rolled 5 days ago by Pepin... So fresh he brought them with him on the plane ride to Houston for Pete. Pete thinks these will go from being great to unbelievable once he gets some cedar age on them. Pete was awesome as he interpreted some stuff so I could converse with Don Pepin as sadly I don't speak Spanish.

I got to meet Heather... I miss your podcasts btw. Ralph you got jobbed as I heard you had to man the shop in Austin!

Hopefully Michael will be able to get a new special blend done that will catapult him into the big time!

Good times. If you were not there you missed what was probably be the best cigar event hosted by a retail shop in Houston at least until Ron's next birthday bash! Maybe we need to celebrate his wifes birthday in style like this... <GRIN>

Last night was great. My wife and I had a wonderful time. The food was good, the caricature was a lot of fun. And, my wife bought a box of one of her favorite cigars, the Don Pepin Garcia Blue Label. She even got Don Pepin to sign the box for her. Too bad she can't smoke any for at least 4 months. Our son is expected to be born sometime in April.

It was great seeing everyone and can't wait until the next time we all meet up.

Oh yeah and my wife won an Hp PhotoSmart 4560 Printer. Way to go babe!

It was nice seeing JonJon, as you all know he is leaving on Monday to begin his new journey. We wish him the best of luck and look forward to hearing any updates.
