Houston Monthy Herf #17 YES IT IS BACK!!

Host : Clavery88

When : Sat Dec 20th

Where : The Cigar Parlor
222 first St. W humble tx 77338

Time : 6 PM till Troy leaves

Ok Clay will be a brand new man (just turned 21) when this herf happens. He strongly wanted me to let everbody know that at the Cigar Parlor you can BYOB. Maybe that was a hint, hell I don't know. Also he said when the parlor closes the herf is moving next door to Sherlock's Pub.

Now keep in mind since this is an Official Houston herf there will be a cigar pass, and the cigars for the pass must be bought at the B&M. Come on guys you know how I am with rules, or so at least I hear LOL

The only thing you should know is be yourself, relax, smoke, and have a good time.

I am planning on going tomorrow. I wanted to know what this cigar pass is about, and what cigars need to be purchased for it?

A cigar pass is simply buying a cigar or two depending on how many passes will be done -- usually its just one pass and the other cigar is to support the B&M where we are. There is no particular type of cigar that must be purchase. The general rule is to put something in the pass that you think someone would like to smoke. Then who ever is in charge of the pass will then let everyone know the order of the pass. For example....all cigars are put in a box and each member blindly pulls a cigar until all members have pulled or cigars are rotated.

Its actually a great way to try something you have never tried before. My first pass I received an MB3, which to this day is my favorite cigar. I had never had one before and it was oh so good.

I hope this helps.

Thanks everyone... I had a lot of fun.

We did a pass threw in my favorite cigar an Oliva Serie V Lancero... Got a CAO LX2 Robusto which was great as I have been wanting to try another one in a smaller ring gauge to see if I would like it better.

We also did a White Elephant pass... I threw in an Oliva Serie V Maduro that I bought at the shop as I wanted to share them with others since I took the last few they had. I took an Oliva Master Blend 3 from cruisin66stang but he got it back with his last steal and I got a Rocky Patel Edge Maduro Pantela which should be fun to smoke as I have never seen one and really like smoking the Edge Maduro Torpedo's.

Thanks for the cigars... I look forward to doing a review on costaricanimports cool cigar that he manufacturers that he generously gave me. Named after his son very cool!

Good times I hope everyone made it home safe.

Hey Guys,
Just wanted to let everyone know that we made back home safe, left around 11:30sh and was walking in the door in Austin around 2ish.
I had a great time meeting and making new friends and always enjoy the comradery that comes with smoking cigars and this group. It really speaks well about the sight and quality people make it run so smooth.
Got to see some old friends and catch up on news and events in everyone lives. Thanks for hosting and the compliments on the cigars its means a lot, when the industry is full of great cigars, its keeps me going when I hear that people really like them.
Need to have you guys come down like on a Friday night and spend the day out at the lake cooking out. Now thats the way it needs to be done.
thanks again! and hope to see every soon.
