Sorry to here Jeff.

Yes your insurance company should cover all out of pocket expenses. Keep your receipts and they should hook you up with accommodations, meals and such should all be covered.

Sorry about your situation, Jeff.
When it comes to replacing stuff there will probably be a reclamation and cleaning company coming in. All your stuff is itemized and then prices set.

Hey All,

Thanks so much for the well wishes.

We are well covered by our policy (up to $1000000), the cleaners are in there now taking everything for cleaning etc. The are in the process of setting up accomodations for us for TWO MONTHS, the entire basement has to be ripped out - walls and all.

Don't know about immediate out of pocket expenses but I will keep you updated!

Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers - it really means the world to us!

Jeff and Faith...as many have said already, I am speechless. However, IF it HAD to happen, it happened at the right time. I would hate to think of losing my Canadian friend/brother...the stuff can be replaced but not the relationship we have developed. You provided a class act by offering up verification on the fire.
