Quick update for those who are following this. My Mom had her CT scan today - I thought it was going to be a CAT scan, but was wrong. They had her drink 2 containers of contrast dye and also took scans with an additional IV contrast dye. She gets those results next Wednesday. She gets the results of the echocardiogram tomorrow. She still losing weight, but has her sense of humor.

I really appreciate all the kind thoughts and prayers of my fellow gorillas. I know that it has helped.

Thank you, everyone, your thoughts and prayers mean a lot to me and my Mom.

The only update is that at this time, they believe that she does not have cancer. They can't rule anything else out. They are trying some enzyme testing and will make a decision in two weeks what the next step for testing will be.

They are 90% sure it isn't a parasitic problem, but need to wait on some test results from the Mayo Clinic.
