    Condolences on losing your good friend. It appears he will live on in thoughts and memories of many people who love him. One can not make a much greater impact on the world than than that. Peace.

    Thanks for the notes everyone.

    The memorial service Friday verged on the edge of a roast . . . great humor as he would have liked it - but it was hard not to mist over with the bagpipes wafting through the walls.

    Today we laid him to rest - and harder it was not to wipe an eye as the bugler played taps and the flag was folded.

    Later there was the food, Irish toasting, more drinks, lazy smoking by the dock, kids and dogs playing on the lawn, boat rides around the lake . . . his kind of afternoon.
