Obviously, prayers and thoughts go out to you and your family. At her age it is vitally important to get her on her feet as soon as possible to keep her lungs functioning normally. Being flat on her back is not a good thing as they tend to develop pneumonia.

I am happy to report that this forum worked! My mother is doing better. Although pretty beat up, she is going to be better. I feel very lucky that a fall like this didn't do more damage to a 76 year old saint.
