Thanks for all your well wishes and prayers. This is something we've really prepared for over the last few years given her health. She went in the hospital in November and never was the same after that. This could have easily happened 3-4 times over the past 8 years when she coded back in May 2000 and came out of that ordeal. On top of sarcoidosis, she battled arthritis, multiple battles with gout, blood infections, MRSA, congestive heart failure, sleep apnea, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few other health issues.
Following the deaths of Bernie Mac and Reggie White, there is a lot more talk about sarcoidosis. My mom was diagnosed with sarcoidosis probably around 10 years ago, but I think she started having symptoms of it as far back as 15-16 years ago. Our Indianapolis station carried a news story for the Central Indiana Sarcoidosis Support Group in which my mom was the vice president. This is the story that aired on Wednesday night. http://www.theindychannel.com/health...32/detail.html The funeral was today and she was buried next to my dad. I hope they are at much more peace with one another than when he left us back in January.

You know she's in a better place than where she was with the pain and all that over the years. She's probably with your old man laughing about some of the crazy shit you've done the past few years.

I truly am sorry for yer loss Duane. I know how it feels to loose someone as close and even so, I am short on words. Just rest assured that if in need, someone's always a PM's distance and that yer mom'll be on me prayers and tonight's smoke.
