Smoking one for a friend. RIP Derek
Will be lighting up a Montecristo White label in honer of a close friend and fellow cigar smoker who was killed 6 months ago today (Thursday). It was his favorite cigar and the last one he smoked with me before he was cut off on his motorcycle and forced to hit the curb at 65mph. I was riding behind him when it happened and will never forget that completely numb feeling when I saw my best friend sent flipping in the air. That was followed by the rage and hatred towards the guy that cut him off, then sped off as Derek was left lying on the ground. I have since made peace with the man but still miss my friend so much.
So this one is for you Derek. We miss you so much. My life will never be the same without you. You brought a smile to the face of every one who met you. R.I.P. Derek Ledford. You will never be forgotten and forever missed. "I'd rather live 20 years having fun than 100 years bored"
