In Memory of Tommy
Well folks, your prayers and good thoughts are well appreciated, however Tommy passed away late this morning. He was riddled w/tumors and couldn't fight the fight any longer. Too much treatment would have killed him anyway so the Doc's sent him home w/hospice. God Bless Tommy Couch, age 33 and please keep his bride, who had turned 32 since my prayer request as well as their two children, 15 and 4.

thanx folks, we appreciate your condolences. Needless to say the old girl is really shaken up about this, she and Kristy are like sisters. Even tho we all knew it was a matter of time, it's going to be difficult for the children especially. the 4 y.o. has been asking why 'daddy won't talk to me'. Tommy worked for the County, and I must share this as well as tip my hat to those in like jobs, the ENTIRE County share the same web-net...Sherriff Dpt, Hwy Dpt,, etc...so many of the County employees, not even knowing who Tommy is donated days up to weeks of their accrued vacation time so that he and his family would continue to receive a pay check and that his insurance would continue. That my friends is what America is all about...there are still good, caring, fine folks left in this country. Thank God for that. upon hearing that, my wife went to her job, where Kristy also works, and requested that she dedicate some of her vacation time, as the CNTY employees did, many others heard of the request and also asked. The HQ decided that if her fellow employees felt that stongly about her that they could retain their vacation, and they would continue to pay Kristy, and consider it a paid LOA, w/bennies. i kno $$ isnt everything, but life goes on and the children with school, the routine bills dont stop. Kristy is from a VERY large family and has a great support group in them, but a loss of a young man, also a brother, father, son, uncle, and a friend to a lot of people to cancer of this magnitute is awful. Again, thanx for the prayers.
