Today has been an ok day at the hospital, not as many seizures today, but they have him drugged up pretty good.

Simon hasn't been in a very good mood today. It started out with a long cluster pa seizures, when this happens they give him Valium to get him out of it. That along with the other drugs he is on just really dopes him up. And in terms most here will understand "he is not a very good drunk". He is ok for the most part when he gets his way, but when he isn't its another story. His first surgery is 8 AM in the morning.

Words fail me as I know the heartache parents go thru when their kids have medical issues,,,been there done that and we as a forum certainly wish you and your family the very best. I hope you have sought out people who are professionals who counsel families who are going through what you all are going through. Sometimes just talking with those who have been thru what you have helps,,,continued thoughts and prayers go out from this home to yours. Certainly keep us updated as to how he is doing.

Trust me he has the best surgeon on this! One of the perks of living in Houston. There are only like 4 or 5 that do this surgery in the U S! He had 2 surgeries in March, and now this 2. Hopefully it will be a long time before/if he needs them again.

One of his doctors just came out and talked to us. They are closing him up now, he has 100 electrodes on his brain around the left frontal lobe. They will monitor him untill his next surgery Friday.

He is resting well and watching TV today. They hooked him up (the wires coming out if his head), so he won't leave the room now untill the Friday surgery, he stays hooked up 24/7. His left eye is swallon shut but last time both eyes where swallon shut, so at least now he can watch some TV. Also ate a little something today and has not had a upset stomach. So both of these are better then his last surgery in March. Not much else going on, will keep everybody updated.
