Buying a Home
Hey everyone,

My wife and I are currently looking at homes. I am asking for prayer and thought on making a good decision and for everything to fall in place if it is the right place for us.

As of right now we have found a place that we like and hope everything works out but we will see, still a lot of paperwork and inspections to go.

Best of luck in your search.

One small piece of advice - don't get too emotional searching and negotiating a home. Your emotions can be a big distraction. There's plenty of time to fall in love with whatever home AFTER you've moved in.

Currently we have a offer in on a house and are waiting to hear back from the Bank (it is a foreclosure). We were hoping to get a response by last Friday but the realator that has the house listed says this bank isn't the quickest.

I will update as soon as hear anything.

We received a counter offer yesterday from the bank. Going over the paperwork now, they were a little higher than we were wanting so we will be putting in another counter offer closer to their price but adding closing cost.

The waiting game will start again once we get this back in.
