Thank you all for your good wishes, you have no idea what it means. Grandma is out of the hospital but not out of the woods. The fact is, people get old and things stop working correctly which is what is happening here. She is becoming increasingly forgetful and emotional and is always in pain. He heart is compromised as well. I just hope that whatever happens, happens without pain or misery for her. My little boy is visiting down there this week and that always just brightens up her day so I'm sure she feels like a million bucks right now. My wife and I will be headed down next week to celebrate her 88th birthday.

I'll keep you posted and again, thank you.

FYI all, I got a call Friday morning that grandma was rushed to the hospital with pneumonia and congestive heart failure. She was intubated right away as if they didn't,the ICU doctors said she would have died within hours.I got there Friday afternoon and she is sedated heavily and on a respirator. Today the doctor informed us that he will be weaning her off the oxygen to see if she has the capacity to breathe on her own. As part of her living will, she has a do not resussitate (sp.) order so should she not be able to breathe on her own, we have no choice but to let her go which is the way she would want it. All our family came up from FL, NJ and PA so she is with her loved ones. Thank you all for your continued prayers and if possible, just say an extra one for her tonight.

Thank you for your kind words and good wishes. As of now, the breathing tube has been removed and she is shallowly breathing on her own. Should she continue to be able to so so, great and if not, the DNR will prevent them from re-intubating her. Thank you all again for your prayers.
