I give up, i got council members telling me that the the couincil meeting they said to hire me and i got the chief telling me no word yet.

I don't know what to do, i have filled out applications and turned in resumes for anybody that would let me see a piece of paper.

UPDATE:

i just got off the phone with the police chief. he said they want to hire me and they are ironing out some training details with the state of kentucky. basically how much catch up traing i have to do since i have been out of police work since 2000.
