I mentioned to a few of you that earlier this week, my grandma, who I've always been close to, was given 6 months to live. Well, that was somewhat of a shock by itself. Then, Friday night, she went into diabetic shock. They got her to the hospital and she perked up, so we thought she would be ok. Then yesterday morning, we drive down to see her. She was basically unconscious. I was able to pray with her, and sing her the lullaby she used to sing me when I was little, and tell her we loved her. By 8pm she was gone.
Would appreciate prayers, especially for my grandpa and mom, both of whom are understandably in a state of shock right now, as this all happened so quickly. She was a believer, and she was comfortable when she passed, so we're very grateful for those two blessings.
Take a moment if you can to tell anyone you love that you do, and to think about eternity. You just don't know how fast death comes for us all.
