That sucks - hard situation to be in, at least in the moment.
Shortly after we got engaged, my wife was laid off in the 4th or 5th round of layoffs that her company at the time was doing. One of the first things she asked after the initial shock of it was whether I wanted to break up with her. I laughed, but I guess that's really how she felt at the time.

Someday you'll probably both look back on this and realize it was for the better (at least I hope so).

give her all of our condolences for the loss of the job, Ill be praying for whatever is in store for her (and you) in the future, im sure you will look back on this event one day and see how it was worked out for the best in the end

Unfortunately, the bad guys won this round, and Claudia lost her job this evening. We are well represented and have an excellent case for appeal, but in the meantime, her profession and her dignity have been lost. I guess I feel a little like that guy who had his cigar spit on earlier in the week, only I feel like it's my wife who has been figuratively "spit on". Little easier to justify my homicidal inclinations right now. (No worries, I shall resist).

The good Man works in mysterious ways. Maybe keeping the job wasn't in those plans. When you think about it, would she really want to work there after all that's transpired? Gotta believe something better is coming her way. And I'm sure it is.
