For all of you fantastic people that have kept my niece in your thoughts and prayers I thank you again!!

I have great news!!!

Last night I was at the hospital and the Respiratory Tech told me that the oxygen saturation levels, blodd pressure, pulse etc had improved greatly and he thought that it was time to reduce some of the life support and see if Violet would take over. One hour later the doctor had the breathing tube removed, and most of the IVs removed. Within one hour Violet was breathing completely on her own, blood pressure and other vitals were stable.

This morning she opened her eyes and told the nurse to "stop it I don't like that" when the nurse was doing a procedure, then asked for her mom and said "I want to go home". She has a way to go yet but things are so positive and hopefully they will continue that way.

I thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, it means a lot to me and my family.
