New for 2007!
Attention all cigar smokers & 601 fans.
United Tobacco will be releasing a new line in the popular 601 serie by Pepin Garcia. The green label is the fourth line in the 601 serie. The green label will don a gorgeous Oscuro Habano wrapper from Nicaragua, combined with 100% Nicaraguan binder and filler this new line will be sure to please the FULL BODIED crowd. We will be introducing this new line at this years RTDA in Houston, TX. Amongst the new green label we will also introduce a LIMITED EDITION version of the green label. An attractive ceramic jar that acts as a humidor will contain 24 71/2 x 52 green label 601's. Quantities are EXTREMELY limited & will only be offered once a year. The 601 Green Label will be on retail shelves some time in August, they will be available in 5 sizes plus the LE jar retailing between $5 - $11.00 each. Hey Patrick it is great to have United Tobacco on CigarLive.com. Eddie Ortega is a cool guy to hang out with.
 I really like the 601 Blue label Maduro. Eddie gave me the new green label but I have not had time to smoke it yet. I got some funny pictures of Eddie playing a joke on someone at RTDA and will post them later. Thanks again for joining CigarLive and sharing the latest info about your products with us. I am glad to hear that you enjoy our cigars, for the 601 is my fav. too (3 or 4 a day). The green label will be available soon. I will keep you updated on when they start shipping.

Welcome aboard Patrick! As of yet, I haven't tried a 601 although I have a couple waiting in my humi. I have heard nothing but good things about your cigars, and I hear the new Green Label is awesome as well!

I am trying to get caught up with the shipping of some of the cigars that I did not get out before RTDA but I am sure we can get Eddie's 601 in a tasting panel soon. I can not wait until Eddie has an event here in Texas again. Also I can not wait to see other CigarLive members take pictures with Eddie at events around the Country. That would be so cool!

Welcome Patrick. I've only been on CL for a few months. This is truly a great site. Where else can someone like myself run into so many great cigar lovers, retailers and manufacturers a like on such a regular basis. Thank you Cigar Live. I have never had a 601, but have heard good things. I don't see them in my area, but I will be on the look out for one to try.
