Sad, just as with Oldsmobile. "We're the Government we're here to help you!" Roger Penske was gonna buy it, then they decided to print like a gazillion more dollars, driving the whole thing into the ground. If anyone could have saved Saturn it was Penske. "Rubbish" I say!

I agree...between myself, my wife and my daughter we have had three Saturns. Two were sold with over 150K miles on them, still going strong. We still own one and it has over 160k on it. Most solid and reliable vehicles I have owned in 35 years. Sad, sad turn of events....:-x :frown::frown:

its a culling of the herd, just like back before WW2...how many american auto and motorcycle companies were there at the turn of the century (1900's). the economy and market decided what was bearable and what survived
