Here is a new pass idea different from anything else I have seen on here:
The other day I stopped by a local BOTLs house and dropped a stick off on his desk with a simple message telling him to enjoy the stick and to post a review within 48hrs. Then it got me thinking this would be cool to transition onto Puff. This will be fun and it will also be great to increase the amount of reviews and it might just help nudge someone to write their first review. Or just a good way to get a second opinion on a stick you recently smoked.

My original idea was a PIF review Bomb. But I am sure that might make some people angry to get sticks they didn’t want and then feel obligated to pay shipping and pay for sticks to send out as well.

So here is how it is going to work:

I need at least 10 people to sign up (with at least 1 positive trader feedback) to get this started with no limit on the waiting list and you will remain on the list until you request to be removed.
After 10 people sign up I will randomly pick (1) person to send at least (1) stick for review
There is no limit to how many sticks you send (to keep the idea of the PIF REVIEW BOMB alive) but they only are obligated to review one.
Once contact is made the victim will have the option to pass or play.
The victim will then smoke the stick and post a review in the review section.
For the review to be counted they will need to post a link to the review on this thread
Then that person will pick another person on the list to send at least (1) stick to and so on and so on.
I will update the list as it builds and reviews are done.
After a person has received a stick I will place an (X) by their name so we can keep track of who has gotten one and who has not as to try to be able to spread it out and limit it to 3 reviews per person a month.

I am open for comments and suggestions. Just PM me.

I like the idea, but why not just get 10 people to sign up and send the 1rst person a 5'r so they can pick a stick to review. Then they put in at least 1 stick (or more) and sends it on to the next person on the list. Then we just keep the pass / reviews going. Once the list of 10 is done it goes back to you and you again pick a cigar and do the final review.

Either way I'm in and love doing reviews, but haven't done one in a while.

I am working on hammering out the details out. this is kind of a beta version right now. I want to bring together the idea of a Bomb and a PIF together and get some reviews out on the forum as well. do you have any suggestions.

I think if people sign up one person sends 5 sticks to someone on list. That person has to review those 5 replace with 5 more and surprise send to the next. Then review those five. You could have themes like Honduran only or vitolas like an only robusto pass cool ideas

The twist is that you get to choose the victim and any sticks you receive are yours to keep as long as you send at least (5) to the next person.

So here is how it is going to work:

1. I need at least 10 people to sign up (with at least 1 positive trader feedback) to get this started with no limit on the waiting list and you will remain on the list until you request to be removed.
2. After 10 people sign up I will randomly pick (1) person to send at least (5) sticks and mark (1) stick for review

So for this thread when you get the 5 sticks are you picking one at random to review and then adding one and passing the rest on, or do you keep all five, review one that is marked and then grab five of your own to pass on?

With this all of the sticks are yours to keep as long as you send 5 to the next person. as far as which stick you review that is up to the person who sends you the sticks. I figure this way it will give us a way to get a second opinion from someone else.

Lets give this one more bump... if no one else joins I will just pick someone out of who we have. I am sure a lot of people are unsure of his idea because it is weird to mash-up all of these different ideas.

Once again:

I will start this out by picking one of you guys at random. Then I will send my package of 5 or more sticks to one lucky BOTL with one of the sticks marked for review. that person will then review the stick I have chosen then post a link to the review in this thread and ship out his package to the person of your choosing )I suggest using Random.org but if you feel like bombing someone specific that is fine. my dream is for this to be never ending but lets see how it goes

Don't worry this is for everyone. I don't care if you just say Good or bad all you have to do is write a review. I have never written one and my palette is very noobish and my writing skills are that of a 5th grader so I am using this as an excuse to write my first review if my name gets picked, plus it is a great way for me to find someone to bomb for no good reason.

The person who just received the pif gets to choose in this case Defetis has chosen his target already. but generally The person up next will have to be notified in order for the address to be verified. This way it keeps everyone guessing who is next

That's funny- tracking number on the day it's going to be delivered! I'm super pumped to see what's inside; ill refill and ship out tomorrow, so I suppose I need to come up with a way to choose a victim errrr next recipient. In honor of my first 'old' birthday (30) next month, I'm going to ship to whoever is oldest

Edit; which I thought was publicly available information in the profiles, but is apparently not really; so chime in with your ages folks

I just got blasted. Went over to the neighbors for dinner and my wife mentioned I received a package; I had the tracking number so I knew that, I didn't make it a huge rush I knew I would see it when I got home and didn't think much else till I walked in the door and didn't see a flat rate box.

Heart thumping I grabbed my camera and approached.

I fought the label off and opened it.

Terms accepted, I lifted the paper off and delved deeper.

Holy mother of wow ouch damn! Cocker_dude got me hard. I've never had any of these and I am excited to have them, and can't wait to try them all. I'm not so sure what they all are, can you help with a few ID's?

I'm floored with your generosity!
Tobias_lutz you are the only one who didn't weigh in on your age.
Assuming you are older it goes to you, otherwise it would go to defetis, who I will give the choice to play, or pass it in a different direction.

Alright I guess it's time to break the ice here.

I received this cigar from Jonathan AuTechCoM I had never really heard of Regius before so I had a good time reading about it as I lit it up.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/05/21/p_4011657_0.jpg (http://s5.photobucket.com/user/defetis/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20140520_150144_042_zpsgrjeifwn.jpg.html)

This cigar from what I gathered is supposed to be cuban-esc due to the fact it's makers are located in London which does not have the ban. The cigar constructions looks and feels nice and does remind me of what I've seen from the darkside. Pre draw the cold inhale is def. very earthy with maybe a touch of leather.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/05/21/p_4011657_1.jpg (http://s5.photobucket.com/user/defetis/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20140520_152446_436_zps8ugcy8tf.jpg.html)

After letting it heat up I was a little shocked how little flavor this thing had. The smoke output wasn't great so I gave it time to get going. As I made my way to the end of the first third I started getting hints of earth and maybe a little nuttyness but that is really it.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/05/21/p_4011657_2.jpg (http://s5.photobucket.com/user/defetis/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20140520_155207_241_zpsnrwz7ggq.jpg.html)

At half way not a lot has changed except you can tell it has gone from mild to medium. I started reading more about this cigar as well as a couple other reviews out there to see if I was missing anything anyone else picked up.

Forgetting to take a last picture as I wrapped it up due to reading was my bad. The last third of this cigar was the most enjoyable part. The nic kick kind of showed itself for a minute to let me know he was there. The earthyness turned into a peppery earth with a little sweetness of the tongue after the draw. The last third was more of what I was expecting for the whole thing.

Smoke time: 1 hour 10 mins
Age: ?
Rh: 65% since Ive had it

In conclusion this cigar really kind of let me down after I read that the US only recieved 200,000 of the 400,000 made. I was expecting something a little more defined with noticable roots of the country they were trying to imitate. When you pull the band off there is the initials of the 12 people who in my opinion let a product go out that should of been a lot better!

79/100

Thank you again Jonathan for the pass. I'm very thankful for all the great smokes you sent

Thanks for the Great review. I know that they are kinda inconsistent for being such a limited release. I will say that the first one I had was amazing. I had met Akhil the owner of Regius at an event at a local B&M. He gave me my first one of these at that event and i lit it up right there and was blown away by it so after a long conveersatin with Akhil he hooked me up with a great deal on his last box he had with him and in my humi they went. then a few weeks later I tracked down another box just going off of my first experience with it. then ended up mixing them up in my humi so i have no way of telling them apart now. but All I can say is that when I get one that is on it is an amazing experience that holds true to their statement of what they were trying to achive but if not prepare to be disappointed. It is like a game of Russian Roulette. but I can tell you that both boxes came with the same name "Anna *something*" on a little slip of paper in the box either the Torcedor or maybe QC person but i am not sure.

***Edit***
Oh and the number made is far lower. 400 boxes of 10 made only 200 for the USA

Meant to do my review this weekend, but I smoked about 2x my normal amount of cigars and I feel like my palette is overloaded. My wife is going out to dinner on Tuesday with a friend so I will have some alone time to really focus on the cigar.

I did one review on my own on another cigar just to do a dry run. I'm a bit embarrassed to post it though.

Just finished up smoking my pass from defetis .

The cigar is a CAO The Soprano in the associate size (5 x 52).

49326
Prelight
Wrapper smelled of sweet Alfalfa. It took me a few minutes to figure this out, but man was it great. I truly love that smell. Pre-draw was hay and light pepper.

49327
1st Third
Draw was perfect. A little resistance and the smoke output was about average. The flavors I'm catching are a sweet leather and a small nuance of candied cherry finishing with sweet cream. The finish was quite short, but I was really digging the flavors.

I was quite surprised at the finish because I thought it would be a bit more pepper because of the pre-light draw.

49328
2nd Third
The flavor has now moved away from the cream to more of a sweet leather and I'm not getting any of the cherry flavor any longer. The finish is now transitioning between long pepper one puff to short tobacco flavor on the next.

The ash is flowering, but solid and came off a few puffs into the 2nd third. Performance is spot on so far.

49329
Final Third
Once again the flavor has changed slightly. Instead of sweet leather it is now just a toasted leather. The finish is now dominated by pepper and it lasts into the next puff.

Ash and burn are still very solid. Didn't need any tending to keep it burning straight.

Overall
I had a lot of fun smoking this cigar. It kept me on my toes because I was never sure what to expect from one puff to the next. I was feeling the nicotine by the end, but it wasn't knock your socks off. I've been sensitive to nicotine in the past so I was happy it wasn't a powerhouse. I could easily see this cigar going into my regular rotation and I stamp it an enthusiastic BUY!

Total smoke time: 1 hour 20 minutes

Thank you defetis for providing a noob a great cigar experience.

Now to the sad part. Unfortunately this was a limited release cigar and can not be easily found. After the cigar, I spent the next 30 minutes trying to find a online store that had some of these. Unfortunately, I came up empty. :frusty:

The search will continue...

I hope you enjoyed the review as I would like to do more in the future. Since I am a noob, I would like constructive criticism as I would like to get as good as the other BOTL's on this site.

Thank you to AuTechCoM for setting this up.

San Lotano Maduro Review

Prelight was outstanding with smells of chocolate and earth
This cigar has a beautiful dark brown wrapper and a very solid construction

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/06/16/p_4023717_0.jpg

First Third- Lots of deep maduro flavors coco and a leathery earthiness are very pronounced. The burn is perfect with tons of smoke output.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/06/16/p_4023717_1.jpg

Second Third- More of the same flavors and is picking up a little in strength. Not much pepper on this cigar

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/06/16/p_4023717_2.jpg

Final third- I would call this a medium to full flavored cigar, I am starting to get a roasted coffee along side that great maduro taste. What a wonderful cigar.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/06/16/p_4023717_3.jpg

I give the San Lotano Maduro an A++

Great review. Never heard of this brand before. I actually prefer cigars with little to no pepper punch so this may be one to try out in the future.

I'm reviewing the CAO America Bottle Rocket
I went into it without any expectations.
The construction was excellent, very pleasing to the eye with it's pin stripe barber pole the scent was..... Floral with a sweet tobacco Pre light draw.
The first Third was Sweet tobacco flavor, pretty one note, but pleasant with a good Draw.
http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/06/18/p_4024976_1.jpg (http://s749.photobucket.com/user/copper0426/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-06/20140617_203628.jpg.html)
Thirty minutes in I'm into the second third Burn has been razor straight. Alas the flavor hasn't developed still just a sweetish tobacco.
http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/06/18/p_4024976_2.jpg (http://s749.photobucket.com/user/copper0426/media/20140617_213656.jpg.html)
I'm well into the Last third an hour and half later. The flavor has finally developed I get a nutty sweetness with the tobacco flavor it started coming into itself but it also got real short and hot about 10 minutes from here.
I must say I wish it had developed to this point sooner because this third was pretty good. I don't do number reviews I only decide whether I would buy it or smoke it again. I have to say I wouldn't. All and all not a bad experience just wouldn't bother again.
Thanks for reading
Tony

Went out yesterday to Keeper01 . Enjoy Bryan.

In hindsight, I don't think I could have chosen a less efficient way to send this pass around the group. Jonathan sent it to me (california to virginia) and now I'm sending back out to Bryan (in california). I guess if I were thinking, I would have sent it hopscotching back across the country. Maybe start with Tobias (her in VA), then to Joel (in MO). Oh well, live and learn.

Do that put anything on the wrapper? I know a local cigar roller that adds something to end of the wrapper to give it a sweetness on the tongue. At first it was a bit odd, but grows on you after a while.

Sorry for the delay, but here is my attempt at reviewing the Kafie 1901 maduro that was sent to me by B-daddy. To be honest, I had never heard of this cigar before, so I was very excited to try it.

First 3rd:
http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/07/17/p_4037954_0.jpg (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/brsmith2/media/Cigars/20140703_185450_zpsrh5wfkx7.jpg.html)
My first impression was that this is a very well constructed cigar with a beautiful oily wrapper. The foot had a slight cocoa smell to it and the wrapper had a light hay smell to it. After cutting, the cold draw produced cocoa and hay flavors. Once the cigar was lit, it produced plenty of thick aromatic smoke. I was getting a lot of cocoa flavor with a hint of vanilla. The draw was perfect and there was a slight pepper on the retrohale. So far so good.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/07/17/p_4037954_1.jpg (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/brsmith2/media/Cigars/20140703_190438_zpsba8eo0nh.jpg.html)

Second 3rd:

After getting into the second third of the cigar, the cocoa flavors started to meld with slight citrus and light hay. The draw is still very smooth and producing a lot of thick smoke. So far the burn has been razor sharp with no touch ups required and the ash held tight for about an inch.

Last 3rd:

In the last third the coco flavors have disappeared and it has changed to a rich tobacco flavor, with a slight hint of citrus on the finish. These flavors lasted right down to the nub.
http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/07/17/p_4037954_2.jpg (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/brsmith2/media/Cigars/20140703_210647_zpssr81xbyy.jpg.html)

My overall impression was this was a great cigar that I would buy in a heartbeat. From the great construction, draw, burn, and flavor, this is a excellent cigar that I would recomend to anyone.

Total Smoke Time: ~2 hours

Score: 93/100

Thanks again to B-daddy for introducing me to this awesome cigar.

and here is my review...

Oliva Serie V Maduro Especial 2008 (6 1/2 x 52)
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Connecticut Broadleaf
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan Jalapa Valley Ligero and long filler
5,000 Boxes of 10 Cigars (50,000 Total Cigars)

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/07/24/p_4040139_0.jpg
http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/07/24/p_4040139_1.jpg

The wrapper was a deep mocha color and had a good deal of tooth. There was a fair amount of oil on the surface of the leaf and a prominent vein was rolled seamlessly in three strips. I got notes of stout coffee and dark chocolate from the Connecticut Broadleaf and more of a coffee bean and hay scent from the foot. Everything seemed rather complex and intriguing. I had to clip a reasonable amount to get a decent draw and still found it to be moderately firm. The cold draw tasted of hay, peat, weak cocoa. I toasted the foot and finished lighting with a cedar spill.

First 1/3:
This stick began with a pleasant balance of leather and coffee which then layered with chocolate and cedar (like when I left a Hersheyís Kiss in my humidor  ) After about an inch the spice settled down and it took on more of a black mocha coffee bean flavor. The burn was solid and straight with ash that hung tightly.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/07/24/p_4040139_3.jpg
The Middle:
The leather returned more and was joined by a splash of toasted cinnamon. This mutated to more of a leathery chocolate as if I took my belt off and spanked a Cadbury Easter bunny  The burn wavered a bit but didnít require any touch-ups. The profile remained medium through this point.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/07/24/p_4040139_4.jpg
The Nub:
Cedar with all its spice and sweet glory emerged as the dominant flavor in the nub. I also got shots of barnyard and a general woodiness like shavings in a shop. I will say that by the last 2 inches the nicotine was beginning to kick my ass a bit. I ate a light lunch before smoking and it just didnít cut it :( . The finish was oily and flavorful.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/07/24/p_4040139_5.jpg

Overall I think this was a great experience and I really appreciate Tim sending me something that is this hard to come by  If I had it to do over again I would eat a huge dinner and smoke it with coffee, rather than a light lunch and a Dr. Pepper, but hey, you live and learn. For some reason, after starting a new medicine a couple months ago, ligero has been making me woozy. Excellent smoke for those lucky enough to find one. :dude:

Great review and pics, and glad you enjoyed it! I was a little surprised too by how much punch these still pack 6 years later. This was my first cigar with more than a year or two on it, and from what I read about cigars going flat and getting weak I didn't know what to expect, but this one didn't disappoint me.

And lol about spanking the bunny...sounds naughty!

and here is my review...

Oliva Serie V Maduro Especial 2008 (6 1/2 x 52)
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Connecticut Broadleaf
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan Jalapa Valley Ligero and long filler
5,000 Boxes of 10 Cigars (50,000 Total Cigars)

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/07/24/p_4040139_1.jpg

This is a really cool idea, tossing a post in here so that I can keep an eye on it for once I have enough cigars to do a newbie pass and get some trade feedback. My first 5 packs are on their way so hopefully it won't be too long! I also need to get a better grasp of flavors, my reviews would be pretty bland.

Keeper01 - here goes my shot at a review!

Cigar: Estd 1844
Size: Anejado No. 54 (perfecto) 5 5/8"x54
Wrapper: Mexican San Andres
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua

Initial Impression/Prelight
The Estd 1844 was a nice looking perfecto with a dark brown San Andres wrapper. It was uniformly firm with a little bit of oil, and the leaf itself was a bit rustic and rough to the touch, but with only small and a few moderate veins which I doubt will affect the burn.

I got a very strong barnyard aroma, and some nice pepper and earthiness on the cold draw.

I've had this cigar in my humidor for about 2 weeks at 65%.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/07/26/p_4040841_0.jpg

1st Third
I lit up, and got this great acidic black coffee flavor. It was strong and distinct, with a little tanginess to it. Delicious, and a great start. The other main flavor in the first section was a pretty powerful bright earthiness, with solid but balanced black pepper in the background.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/07/26/p_4040841_1.jpg

2nd Third
The second section got a little sweeter, with a deep, dark chocolate, more coffee, and a nice warm maduro spiciness. The burn was dead-on perfect, which is not always the case particularly with perfectos. The ash held over an inch each time, the smoke output was good, and I marked it med+ flavor and medium strength through 2/3.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/07/26/p_4040841_2.jpg

Final Third
With about 2 inches left, the flavors changed to an unexpected but pleasant savory meatiness. The black pepper picked up too, and a little retrohale stung my pretty good. I also got little bits of a smoky wood flavor. The cigar got a little hot and bitter towards the end so I let it go maybe 1/4" before I'd normally quit.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/07/26/p_4040841_3.jpg

Overall Impression
This AJ Fernandez blend was a new cigar to me, and it was a nice surprise. I LOVED the first third especially - I've tasted acidic coffee flavors in cigars before of course, but this was so distinctly tangy that it took me off guard. I would have been happy without a single flavor change from the point on, but the dark chocolate and spices were also nice, as was the savory turn at the end.

Thanks again Bryan, both for the bomb and this smoke. I enjoyed it a lot, and I'm looking forward to getting into the other goodies you sent me!

First, sorry for taking so long to respond and holding up the pass, this week has been hectic. My package will be sent out Monday morning. Tobias is there a certain cigar you'd like me to review? If not I'll probably select a couple of different ones.

As for what I received, I'm going off memory because my computer died and am currently visiting my mother, there's not a cigar in there that I've tried.
Diesel- I've enjoyed every Diesel I've tried so far, exception Salomon but that was a smoking issue
Perdoma- both of these look like they're right up my ally
Nica Rustica- currently have a couple sitting in my humidor waiting to try
88- probably the one I'm most looking forward to smoking

There are also 5 more, i'll post a picture later this afternoon. Thank you, I can't wait to smoke these

Warlock Robusto (54x4.75)

House: Altadis

The release date and storage are unknown. It came into my possession over a week ago and was stored at 65% then dry boxed for 12 hours.

Little information is found about the Warlock Robusto other than that contained in its #9 (https://www.puff.com/forums/vb/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=9) of 25 rating/review in 2011 by the people at CA which states that these were crafted in Condega, Nicaragua by Omar Ortez at Agros Tobacos Industriales, for whatever thatís worth. A quick check on Altadisí site doesnít yield any additional info on the Warlock.

I did stumble upon a box of these over the weekend and took a snap shot of the box label which had this info on the blend:

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Cubano
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Dominican/Nicaraguan

MSRP: $6

The cigar is covered in cello and upon its removal I get a pleasant aroma of hay & rich earth with an underlying cocoa. Some cedar and aged, slightly floral tobacco is present. Very inviting.

There are traces of grease on the wrapper that has faded over time. The fermentation looks pretty good, though slightly uneven by its mottled appearance. The Warlock has some hearty veins and a slightly rustic appearance. The cap is somewhat sloppy but the stick is well filled.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/08/26/p_4054654_0.jpg (http://s573.photobucket.com/user/Merovius19/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20140826_140036.jpg.html)

The cold draw first brings a mineral, gritty earth & salt on the lips which is very interesting; followed by a musty, spicy tobacco.

1st-The initial puffs bring what can only be described as a powerful biting Condega ligero zip, followed by a strong dark chocolate, espresso & black pepper on the back of the throat. The saltiness on the lips from the wrapper is now absent. A pleasant sweetness dances the line between caramel and molasses.

The finish is pretty long and you can really taste the soil from which the leaf came and has a tasty lingering dried fruit sweetness. The profile is predominantly Nicaraguan at this point and Im struggling to pull out anything Dominican or Ecuadorian. The first half ends a Medium with signs of coming down.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/08/26/p_4054654_1.jpg (http://s573.photobucket.com/user/Merovius19/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20140826_141324.jpg.html)

The draw is damn near perfect with just the right amount of resistance. The burn of the leaf is keeping pace with the filler and is as even as I need it to be. Its also putting out great, though slightly dry smoke and the ash is pretty solid for Nicaraguan tobacco. No complaints on construction which make this cigar all the more enjoyable.

2nd- Really wish that salt was still there but its just not. The black pepper that hit the back of my throat from the initial puffs has subdued and morphed into a softer spice, like black cumin. The profile is now mostly leather, medium earth, raisin, bitter coffee & bakers chocolate. The retro is slightly rough with black pepper and burnt oak.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/08/26/p_4054654_2.jpg (http://s573.photobucket.com/user/Merovius19/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20140826_144134.jpg.html)

I put it down with an inch left, and it ends right smack dab in the middle of Medium w/a lil bit of a nic kick.

Final smoke time 1 hour 10 minutes.

I did enjoy the Warlock but I felt like it was teasing me at times and just never really got there. The construction/performance combined with the sweet earthy profile was right in my wheelhouse and kept me interested. Well balanced but not overly complex with much depth. Considering the price point of $6 I could easily recommend this stick as a good knock-around cigar with its strong combustive qualities that allow it to rest for substantial breaks.

Thanks Tombstone for sending a solid smoke I would not otherwise try.

Thank you!!! sorry for the lack of attention to this pass guys. Things have been crazy between Work and having a Newborn at home. I have only smoked maybe 4 cigars in the past 2 months or at least that is how it feels. I still have a review to do myself maybe I will get that taken care of this weekend. anyways If someone wouldn't mind taking the reins for the next couple months until we are done with harvest (Late October early November) that would be a huge help.

As far as how to continue. I would say whoever is on the prowl should pick from someone who has completed their review.

I smoked this cigar, here is the quick review.

Afuente 858 with 12 years, yes...12 years.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/10/18/p_4073475_0.jpg (http://s5.photobucket.com/user/defetis/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20141016_172008_200_zpstdnjr4hw.jpg.html)

The cigar has lost probably a 3rd of the weight these usually have in my estimation which means this thing has been sitting. The oil is so prominent with this thing its hard to ignore, cold draw is a very mild tobacco taste

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/10/18/p_4073475_1.jpg (http://s5.photobucket.com/user/defetis/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20141016_174558_349_zpszkn22dgx.jpg.html)

After getting through the first third there are a few things I have to say here. Damn I have never had such a mild great burning cigar. The ash is bright white holds on for about a third at a time. Im really only still getting a mild tobacco flavor but I don't mind. Also I noticed the smoke output to be a lot more than these usually put off.

http://imagestore.puff.com/2014/10/18/p_4073475_2.jpg (http://s5.photobucket.com/user/defetis/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20141016_180252_504_zpsjja5lc4r.jpg.html)

To the half way point and this cigar is just staying solid as it started. I wasnt sure how the age would affect the smoke time. But it seems to be pretty normal.

I proceed to finish it but my last picture didn't save on the phone for some reason. I was really happy with this cigar and loved the smoke output and way it burned so perfectly. Thank you again LGHT

In conclusion
Personally, the mildness of this cigar makes it one I would not age. But does give me very high hopes for the boxes of fuente I have been sitting on for awhile.

89/100 pretty much for construction, smoke output and burn quality. If you like mild the 12 years makes a cigar i would call 80/100 almost ten points better
