Yep. If you've ever rolled a cigar around in your fingers, giving it that little squeeze trying to get a little more smoke. That's a draw issue. Couple pokes with a modus and it's good to go.

Most people think it's only good for plugged cigars ( think thick milkshake, narrow straw) , which it is.
But the longer you smoke, the more you figure out your likes and dislikes. I like a medium to easy draw. So I adjust my draw by using a modus. Your cheeks should not hurt after an hour or so puffing on a cigar.

This will clear stubborn stems and twists but it's also good for fine tuning. I have both and use them both. I'm not usually a nubber but when I do the modus also comes in handy..

If you step over to the dark side it becomes even more indispensable. Nothing like ordering a box, waiting a month for delivery, crack em open, do a cold draw, and your head almost implodes.. lol

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.- - - George Carlin

Iíve had enough that owning one will be very helpful. Even if itís not a complete plug, a partial can be just as annoying. I never again want to throw away a good cigar that just happened to have a bad draw. Plus I do have a few cigars that I will nub every single time.

Now that's a great bomb! Let us know how it works, I'm especially interested in the stand.

The stand is awesome; super high quality metal, great paint job, wide enough base to keep it from flipping if you bump it accidentally. And the best part is the hollowed out center that holds the nubber tool!

Iíll post some pics using it next time I smoke a stick (later tonight.)

I've used it to unplug a cigar about 3 times since I've owned it. The payoff for me is the nubber.

You know how you get down to the end of a really good stick? It's starting to burn your fingers, but you just can't accept that the ride is over?? You don't have another hour+ to light another stick? That's when I can get another 15 minutes out of a nub using my Modus!

I use the Modus even if there's a hint that the draw is compromised...to sit and draw on a stick that you have to wrestle with is not my idea of a good session...it might only be partially plugged and I'll still use the tool and then it makes the draw so good that the cigar burns better and the smoke is more voluminous... isn't that what we want? Otherwise we're struggling and not getting an efficient draw and when I spend $17 on an Espy I expect a great smoking session... that's just me.
