Very generous and wide-ranging sampler from @Matt_21. It's also heartening to see they're still teaching how to write with an elegant script in Upper Canada!

Actually, on closer examination, I can see it's elegant alright but it's not script, it's printing. So I guess cursive has gone the way of the ink well and dip pen in my old stomping grounds!
