Re: Puff.com Questions & Answers: Moving Forward

Hi, I'm Dan and will be helping John/Shari to get this site going again. I've been involved with online communities since the early days of running a 4 line BBS (PCBoard) while in High School. Once the Internet came along I quickly got involved with several forums from firearms to motorcycles to trucks & cars. I've been working with vBulletin for over 10 years and look forward to participating here.

Unfortunately I am not a cigar smoker. The only thing I can do is promise you that what I am good at is making sure communities run well. We have a very successful Parrot forum and I don't know anything about Parrots. I just know about making sure the community has every opportunity to succeed that we can give it.

Many of our forums are in relation to things we are passionate about (Motorcycles, Guns, Technology, etc) but not all of them.

Then this is all a business transaction. You do realize this seems like Rocky Balboa selling flooring. I do my day job because I love what I do, your trying to resurrect a community not for the love of the hobby but a dollar sign. You can dress up a man as a woman for a buck but fact is he's still a man and will **** you in the end.

I see no reason why all the different forums cant exist and thrive...albeit separately. hey not everyone can get along, esp. when it comes to the interwebs.

you should see a dr for erections lasting longer than 4 hours, does that apply to e-peens as well?

I am passionate about forums and communities. That is exactly what I do for a living. It's what I love. Granted I may not always be a hobbyist of the subject material but that doesn't make me less passionate about seeing the community flourish.
