Re: Club Stogie Radio - Announcing

I thought the dial needed a few metal stations. Those are some of the best that I know of. This feature rules! So does BrainGell Radio!

I don't know much about streaming but I have been successful adding stations but also some failures. Fox, CBS and some Clear Channel owned stations stream in their own flash player and you can't get the direct url to those streams, at least I can't. I go to streamingradioguide.com and find an over-the-air station I can add. It's a huge database of streaming stations of all formats in all states. I have added a few of my local and not so local stations from there. Also google helps to find a few internet only stations. When I find a station that streams, I let it load and when it's playing I'll check the properties and get the url of the stream. Copy it and come back to CS Radio click add a station. Insert the station name, then paste the url in the "streaming url" field. The default player is the media player but if the sation streams using realplayer be sure to choose realplayer or it will not work. You can give a description of the station format and link the station. It's really a breeze because all you need to do is copy and paste. :tu
