I've heard the 1666 sucks... And most of their other lines.
Although everyone I've talked to loves the Expresso "double expresso" sticks.

I have not enjoyed a single Graycliff. They have all tasted like junk and my fingers were discolored from the wrapper dye.

I had a really nice G2 Tubo. Would love to have another. Really nuanced and balanced flavours...

I have only had the G2, and if they were giving them away I still wouldn't waste my humi space. Just my opinion obviously.

Re: Why all the sudden bargains on Graycliffs?

Like the original post here mentioned not all Greycliffs are truly Greycliffs. I talked with the owner's at IPCPR and noticed all of the product on the floor was different from what I see online and asked about it. They told me they "lease" out the name and those cigars are made by other companies. 1666 is a prime example. When you see a cigar actually made by Greycliff they are $20 to $30 range and are actually good.

You now know at least one who thinks the Douible Expresso sucks. Couldn't pay me to try another one.

There is only one Greycliff that I would consider top notch and that is the Professional, and that is is priced too high.. My opinion is there is no box of cigars that are worth 300 bucks or higher..

Re: Why all the sudden bargains on Graycliffs?

Me and a buddy bought a 1666 flight sampler, he smoked all his practically ROTT and saved a few for a couple months. I let mine rest for about a year and had one. Was not bad (dare I say, good??). I think I still have a few somewhere in my humi, once it gets fresh outside I'm definitely going to light one up
