Only one cigar from here on out...

Hi, I'm Dan, I am new to Puff and let me start out by saying a big "THANK YOU". This forum is a wealth of knowledge, a great resource, and the members are great! I wanted to get my feet wet by creating a new thread. Sorry if this has already been addressed, but I haven't seen it while I've been perusing the site.
It seems like there are a lot of threads about which cigar to try next or what we are currently loving, but I wanted to approach it from a different angle which I think I, and maybe a few others, can learn a lot from. Hopefully this discussion will help me find a few sticks to try.

So the question is this...
If you could only smoke one cigar from today on, what would you choose and why?

Thanks again everyone!

Re: Only one cigar from here on out...

I think that sticking to one cigar forever would be extremely painful. There are a lot of cigars that I really like, but variation is why I love this hobby.

Right now is hard for me since I just started, so I'll split it in 2

1 - CC - Cohiba Siglo III, but any will do

2 - NC - Camacho Select Super Robusto

I agree with Stubby, sounds really boring. In the interest of variety, and also because I can't pick just one, I will list a handful of my favorites.

Diesel Shorty
Arturo Fuente Opus X xXx
Arturo Fuente Anejo 77 Shark
Tatuaje Havana VI Hermosos
Tatuaje RC233
Padron Anniversary 1964 Natural

That would keep me from getting too bored, but even so I still wouldn't want to limit myself.

Hi Dan and welcome to puff. Thats a great question, If I had to choose one cigar to smoke for the rest of my life I'd have to go with a Gran Habano vintage 2002. I havent smoked too many different kinds but I always enjoy these when I smoke em, nice size, nice flavor profile, nice smoking time.(almost always two hours)...

Welcome to puff! This place is a treasure trove of cigar information. If you're looking for new cigars to try, I suggest looking at the noob pif. Id link it but I'm on my iPhone on my porch smoking

And I haven't been smoking enouh to find just one cigar to smoke. I guess I'd choose a very flavorful, full bodied smoke. Maybe an ashton VSG. Then again, my inexperienced palate speaking

Re: Only one cigar from here on out...

It would be very tough, it would probably be a Bolivar BF or Liga Privada 9 Belicoso(on the NC side). Completely different but completely satisfying.

...but with the lack of variety, I'd probably rarely smoke at all.

My backyard is more humid than my humidor.

I could see myself being EXTREMELY satisfied if I was stuck smoking

Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Champagne, 6x60 Super Toro.

Four a day would keep all smoking blues away!
