We try to keep to the subject specifically , but it rarely happens. It's the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon theory. No matter where it starts, then meanders to in the middle,it always seems to come back to the original thought.

Sometimes the mods gotta break out the cattle prods to get us back in line. But we get there.

I like that free flow

It reminds me of the kind of chat sessions I have with buddies over a nice drink or two.

I'm lazy so it's not worth finding an appropriately sized box to save 3 bucks lol. I just stick them in the 5 dollar flat rate one.

You should tell her, isn't the box flammable! On second thought you should probably not sass her lol.

The first step is admitting you have a cigar problem. The second step is realizing the problem is "not having enough cigars".

As per USPS regulations described here: 344 Flammable Solids (Hazard Class 4)

Cigars are not flammable ( unless you soak them in gasoline )

I learned a lot of useful info on shipping. As my collection grows I'll be more inclined to bomb. With a modest collection such as mine is now if I was so inclined to do so it wouldn't be as grand as some I've seen you guys do. I really like the idea of doing such things. I donate a lot of time for veterans causes locally and, I like the idea of doing the same here with fellows of similar interest.

Bombs ,pifs, trades and the like are about giving someone the opportunity to smoke something they wouldn't grab for themselves. It doesn't have to be over the top. Can't say that doesn't happen because sometimes it turns into outdo the last guy thing.

When I send a new guy smokes. I don't think about the price. I want him to experience what it's like to smoke a cigar that's been resting for 3+ years. Since they haven't even been smoking that long, it's doubtful they've had that experience before.

It's about cigar karma. Help somebody else out and maybe your bid will hold up on the devil site. Or maybe it won't, when your begging for someone to outbid you on at least a few of the 8 bids you have.

Don't feel pressure to participate in them. Hang around gain some knowledge, get to know some people. It'll come naturally. Usually when your ever expanding collection gets noticed by the wife and it's time to get rid of some before the "where did all these come from" interrogations start.

I am a FIRM believer in cigar karma. sent out 6 bombs on before new member sign on for saint and sinners and got in on the day of the mess!! As stated cigar bombs dont have to be over the to with all high end cigars. i know personally its nice to just receive something new or something in a size i wouldn't normally smoke or even just simple sticks to take me back to the basics its all about the thought not the cigars!!

I've always had the pay it forward kind of attitude. I guess I'm just really impressed how everyone's so willing to help others find what they're looking for on this forum. Helps restore a little faith in humanity.
Asfar as participating in auctions and what not I'll be sure to ask for advice and learn a little more before I jump in
