Pelican humidor

Hey guys -- I'm curious... right now I'm using a small Pelican case as a humidor. No particular reason other than the fact that I had it, it wasn't being used, and it has a nice seal. Its working great, but I'm curious how many cigars I can comfortably fit in it. The inner dimensions are roughly 9" x 7" x 6". I want to make sure I don't overload it as I slowly accumulate more sticks.

Alright -- fair enough! I just remembered reading that a humidor's listed capacity is usually considered quite optimistic. Perhaps that for "conventional" humidors?

It’s part of the marketing scheme, probably the majority of cheaper mass produced humidors base the ‘count’ on corona sized smokes to make their product seem bigger than it really is. When I build a tray or humi, conversion, or whatever I base my numbers on a Churchill size.

Just cut to the chase and get a CC-400. You end up spending half the cost of it in other attempts to “find a balance”.
